Bloggin’ in 2019

Ahh ok. I’m doing it. I’m finally going to start producing content on this blog I intended to start one full year ago.

Why has it taken me so long to publish? Ugh, well, at the start of 2018, I said to my husband, “I think I want to start a blog”. So for a week straight I laid in bed trying to come up with a name. I researched blogs about writing blogs. I tried to learn everything I needed to know. I am a perfectionist in that way. I didn’t want to publish any content without my site looking beautiful or knowing all the things about blogging. {Well, it doesn’t and I still don’t}

I got a little side-tracked, then got tired of trying to be perfect, and put it to the waist side. That’s the way I’ve been my whole life. I want to be all in, but if it’s not perfect, or if I’m scared of what other people think, I give up.

This year is going to be different. Here are my New Years Resolutions:

1. Contribute to my blog
2. Stop caring about what other people think
3. Just. do. it. – even if it’s not the “right” way
4. Take my children to ALL the places
5. Be present
6. Worry less
7. Get my health and fitness back on track
